Open House for Sonoma Valley Fire District

Join the Sonoma Valley Fire District for a fun, family-friendly Open House on Sunday, October 18th from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at SVFD Station #31, 630 2nd Street West in Sonoma! This free community event is a great opportunity to meet your local firefighters, explore the station, learn more about fire safety, and enjoy hands-on activities for all ages. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live firefighting demonstrations at 11:00 AM, 11:45 AM, and 12:30 PM, along with plenty of activities including kids’ obstacle courses, a jump house, face painting, coloring, fire museum tours, Koda the therapy dog, interactive educational booths, and more. Community organizations and local agencies will also be on hand, including Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, Sonoma Police, California State Parks, CHP, Redcom Dispatch, Sonoma Ecology Center, Sonoma Chamber of Commerce, First Responder Therapy Dogs, and many others. Guests can also check out optional purchases including antique fire engine rides, food from Ford-E-Roy’s & Churro Truck, merchandise, and raffle opportunities.
